Sinopsis:
Garis cerita film It benar-benar mengadaptasi source material-nya. Ini dimulai dari latar di musim panas pada 1989 di kota kecil bernama Derry. Semuanya dimulai ketika Billy (Jaeden Lieberher) mengajak teman-temannya buat mencari adiknya yang hilang tanpa jejak, Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott). Billy berdeduksi hilangnya Georgie berhubungan dengan kasus orang hilang lainnya yang lagi marak di Derry. Dalam upaya pencarian Georgie, Billy dkk yang menamakan kelompoknya sebagai "The Losers Club", harus berhadapan dengan iblis berwujud badut yang ternyata jadi sosok di balik hilangnya warga Derry secara misterius, termasuk Georgie.
