Hello <profile>! Hmm... Looks like I ought to help you. But you should know first of all that I'm going to put all of your gadgets back into the toolbox. After that, I'm going to put one or more gadgets in the correct place for you. Each of the gadgets that I position counts as an unsuccessful start attempt and so has a corresponding effect on your level score. Do you really want me to place a gadget in the correct place for you?
Greetings <profile>! OK, I'll help you out and will put a gadget in the correct position for you.
Hmm... <profile> It looks a bit too difficult for you here. I'll help you out and place a gadget for you!
OK <profile>, It's looks like you're stuck. So I'll just put a gadget in the right position for you!
Hello <profile>, this is where I'll tell you a little about controlling the game. Use the directional buttons or 2,4,6,8 keys to move the cursor or a selected gadget. To select or de-select a gadget, or to confirm a command, press the Action button or 5. When a gadget has been selected, many of them can be rotated using the left softkey. You can use the right softkey to delete the gadget, which means it goes back into the toolbox. If no gadget is selected then you can use the left softkey to begin an attempt and use the right softkey to open the toolbox.
Hello <profile>. I've prepared a few pieces of equipment and some situations which you have to put together using your imagination and logical thinking. You have to fulfil a task with each piece of equipment. Once you've successfully completed a task, I'll give you a more or less valuable medal, dependent on your performance. Try to collect as many valuable medals as possible!
Switch sound on or off using the Action button or the 5 key.
[award]
Yoo-hoo <profile>! Perfect, it doesn't get any better! You have justly earned a valuable gold medal. My congratulations!
Yippee, excellent! I'll give you a gleaming gold medal for your outstanding performance. Respect!
Top... You solved that astoundingly well! Let me give you a sparkling gold medal together with my admiration!
An excellent performance, <profile>! You've really earned you silver medal for it. I really daren't imagine what you might be capable of next...
Super construction! For this excellently executed task you receive a silver medal. Now, can it get any better?
Very well done, <profile>! I'll award you a gleaming silver medal for your super effort. Only a few do any better than this...
Well done, <profile>! Your good performance has earned you a lovely bronze medal. Now then, don't worry, I know you can do even better!
Very nice! For this well-functioning solution, you'll receive a bronze medal. If you could only train a little more, it could get even better!
Way cool! I'll give you a bronze medal for your functioning arrangement. You think you can make this any better?
Not bad, <profile>! Your performance wins you a polished nickel medal. I think though with your brain, you can do rather better!
Well done! I'll give you a well-deserved nickel medal for your performance. Have you got the go, <profile>? Then give it another try!
Now then... You did that well, and here I have a nickel medal for you. Try for a bronze the next time!
Hmm... <profile>! I think you can do better! But you get a steel medal at least to spur you on for the next attempt.
Hmm, OK... At least you still did it! And that gets you a steel medal. And I really do know you that you can do better!
Herumpf... just about done it! And I'll give you a steel medal for such a tired performance. The nicer medals are await your next attempt!
Oh dear, <profile>. Your brain's made of lead? Well, you're only going to get a lead medal from me for that. Maybe you'd like to try it again?
Argh, you weren't exactly the fastest there! So all you're getting is the 'dead slow' lead medal. But don't give up, you can do it much better!
Ouch, that was painful! That lame performance wins you a heavy lead medal. Just try it again, will you?
By the way:
It's my opinion:
What I still wanted to say:
It's more important to recognise the problem than the solution, since it's the exact revelation of the problem, which leads to the solution.
One doesn’t have to understand the world, merely must one find his way in it.
Imagination is more important than knowledge, for knowledge is limited.
Problems cannot be solved using the same thinking which created them.
Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.
Joy in seeing and comprehending is nature's most beautiful gift.
The possibilities lie in the middle of the difficulties.
In the middle of confusion it’s worth finding that which is simple.
Imagination is everything, it is the preview of life’s coming attractions.
What really counts is intuition.
People love chopping wood. In this activity one immediately sees results.
The value of an accomplishment lies in what was spent in achieving it.

[tutorials]
You want to play the tutorial again?
Welcome <profile>, to the tutorial. This is where you can learn how the game is played.
You can move the cursor with the directional buttons or with the 2,6,8,4 keys.
In order to position a gadget, you first have to open the toolbox. To do this, click on some free space on the screen, or on the right softkey.
Now you can select an object with the left/right buttons or with the 4/6 keys. Confirm your selection with the Action button or 5. If you need a gadget's description, then press on the left softkey while the gadget is on the cursor. You can also change important settings via the toolbox. So now choose your gadget and confirm your selection.
Now the gadget is on the cursor and can be positioned in any possible place. When the colour highlighting is green, the gadget can be positioned. When it's red, it cannot be positioned in that place. You can rotate a lot of gadgets with the left rotate softkey and so change a gadget's direction. Using the right delete softkey, you can remove a gadget lying on the cursor and put it back in the toolbox.
Very good, now press the Start button on the left softkey in order to bounce the ball into the bucket. If the position of the spring isn't quite correct, you can readjust it by clicking on it again with the cursor. If the colour highlighting then changes from green to yellow, then this counts as a new starting attempt and this will negatively affect your score.
I don't think that this is the correct position for the spring in order to get the ball to bounce into the bucket. You ought to put the spring in another position.
Not badly positioned! But, oh no, you haven't quite positioned the spring exactly enough. The ball has fallen to the bottom. Adjust the spring just a little more so that the ball can bounce into the bucket.
Yoho, you've got it right! The ball is now in the bucket and so you have successfully completed both the task and the tutorial. Now you know everything you need to, in order to complete all of the other tasks. Have fun!
It looks like you didn't know what to do and how to get the spring correctly positioned. OK, so I'll help you and position the spring for you in the correct spot. If you need any help again in the rest of the game, then use the 'Einstein's Help' function.
After a start attempt has been made and the gadget only has to be moved a little, then the highlight within the adjustment radius remains green. If you should move outside the green radius again following a start attempt, then the gadget's highlight turns yellow. If the yellow highlighted gadget is freshly placed, then this counts as a new start attempt.||Now position the gadget in the correct place, so that the ball can bounce into the bucket. Press on Start on the left softkey, to see if the contraption works.
If you find again that you don't know how a contraption goes together, then choose 'Einstein's Help' in the toolbox. I will then position one or more gadgets for you in the correct place.
Now press the Start button and watch how the finished contraption works.

Einstein's Biography||| 14th March 1879: Albert Einstein is born in Ulm, the son of a merchant Hermann Einstein and his wife Pauline (née Koch).||1896 - Einstein begins a teacher training course of study in mathematics and physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, after having been rejected the previous year.||1900 - he gains a degree as a teacher of mathematics and physics.||1902-09 - Technical Examiner at the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office (patent office) in Bern.||1905 - He publishes work expanding on Max Planck's quantum theory with his hypothesis of Light Quanta in the 'Annalen der Physik'. In introducing his explanation of 'Special Relativity Theory', he leads the crossover of science into the 20th century. Shortly after this he delivers his addendum to the theory of relativity with the formula E=mc². The energy of a body is thus the product of its mass multiplied by the square of the speed of light.|His theories quickly establish themselves in scientific thinking.||1907 - He takes up a post doctorial post at the University of Berlin, an institution which had refused him the previous year.||1909 - Einstein receives an extraordinary professorship in theoretical physics from the University of Zürich.||1911 - Full professorship at University of Prague.||1912 - He works at the Swiss Federal Institute of technology in Zürich, where along with his own research, he is also contracted to lecture in theoretical physics||1914 – Einstein is invited to the Prussian Academy Of Sciences. Freed of any teaching commitments, he is now able to concentrate exclusively on his reseach.||1915 October: Einstein formulates his ‘General Theory Of Relativity’ which replaces previously held as valid notions of physics.||1920 – On the basis of his research and his Jewish origins, Einstein is seen as being hostile to Germany.|Following the murder of Walther Rathenau (1922) and Hitler’s ‘Munich Putsch’ in 1923 and the huge electoral success of the German National Socialist Workers Party (NSDAP) in the parliamentary election of 1932, he became fearful of an anti-Semitic personal attack and left Berlin for a time.||1921 – 24th August: Erich Mendelsohn’s so-called Einstein Tower is inaugurated in Potsdam. With the help of this tower-mounted telescope, the relativity theory is to be empirically tested. || Einstein receives the Nobel Prize for Physics for the introduction of quantum light theory and his work in the field of theoretical physics. |His research revolutionises the basics of physics: it results in a completely new perception of space and time as well as lending new insights into gravitational force. ||1925-1927 – He carries out further work on quantum theory. ||1933 – 30th January: Einstein is in Pasadena when the NSDAP takes power in Germany. He protests against the human rights abuses in Germany and abdicates his position at the Prussian Academy Of Sciences, before the National Socialists can force him out. |Einstein emigrates to the USA where he receives a new position in Princeton, New Jersey at the Institute For Advanced Studies. ||1939 – 2nd August: in spite of his fundamental pacifism, he signs a letter to the American president advocating the development of the atomic bomb, fearing the advancements made in atomic science in Germany and their military use. ||1945 – 6th and 9th August: following the USAF’s dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Einstein founds the ‘Emergency Committee Of Atomic Scientists’. As president of the committee, he commits himself to the peaceful use of atomic energy.||1955 – 18th April: Einstein dies in Princeton, New Jersey.||| Used with kind permission of the Deutschen Historischen Museum.
